Found your blog through your website a...Hey there!

Found your blog through your website after doing a little googling and just wanted to give major kudos for producing one of the most beautifully assembled series of tv-spots I've ever seen. I'm referring particularly to the Buenos Aires ones—they're absolute perfection.

I was writing a blog entry the other week on Old Navy's (sort of) timeline of advertising trends, and after reminiscing over the Spring 2008 campaign thought to myself, "oh man, I need to find that behind to scenes video for the name of the creative director or someone!" And here I am at your blog (a while later... I can be such a procrastinator)!

It's really a shame that ON has reverted to its old ways (original logo, kitschy advertising, poorly-fitted fleece pullovers, etc) because for a while there I looked at them as an up and coming fashion-forward discount/family stores. There's no excuse why fashion can't be family-friendly, comfortable, affordable, AND nicely designed. A few places have figured that out (like Target) and for a bit there it seemed like Old Navy had too.

I think that's about all I have to say, haha. Sorry to go crazy with this book-length off-topic comment!

Cheers,

Josh

PS: If I could say one thing to Old Navy it would be: No more supermodelquins! Please, ON, please! My eyes and ears bleed everytime they come on. Bring back spots like the ones with Lights (who I am now a die-hard fan of with thanks to the ad campaign—she really is a talented girl!) and Ingrid Michaelson. I'm begging you!

PPS: On-topic with the entry: the Leopard print heels... YESSS!!!Joshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13771555863035521977noreply@blogger.com
