ok, so they DID warn me about the shopping in vegas. so i came prepared:


there was some damage done, but it was evie's bday, so we had an excuse. yes, true, we always have an "excuse", but this one seemed oddly relevant:


we found the actual VUHR-SAYCE from the movie "showgirls":


stumbled into bottega, where i coveted, of all things, the light fixtures:


and found the perfect iphone holder. alas, it was something like seven thousand dollars. i may have to wait for the 2.0 version. you know, the one that ISN'T seven thousand dollars:
